Account vs. user onboarding

Bento is built for SaaS onboarding, which means supporting account and user level guidance

Something quite unique to B2B SaaS is the nuance between account-level and user-level onboarding. In Bento, any onboarding checklist can be created on the user or account level.

Account-level guides only need to be completed one time for the entire account. Progress through the guide will be synced across all users at that account. This is useful for app set-up/ configuration or super-admin onboarding.

User-level guides are shown individually to each user in an account. Users can make their own progress at their own pace. This is useful for educational or support guides to ensure every user is learning how to use the platform.

To change the scope of the guide before it is launched, navigate to the targeting tab. At the bottom of the page you can toggle between user or account level.

Once the guide is launched you can't change the scope. You can duplicate the guide and change the scope but then you would need to re-launch this new, duplicated guide.
