For a user interacting with an onboarding guide, announcement modal, or tooltip, you can now launch a new guide based on their interactions.

Launch a guide from a CTA

You can trigger a new guide (e.g. a flow) to launch from the call-to-action button of another guide (e.g. an onboarding guide)

If you only want the guide to be accessed via CTA click, do not auto-launch the guide (i.e., do not set it live).

When the CTA is pressed it will automatically 'launch' the guide
You also don't need to set an audience. The audience will be whichever users click the CTA.

Launch rules for the guide

Once you've connected a guide to launch via another, the parent guide will show up in the child guide's "By other guides" section.

Unless you want this guide to be triggered by multiple cases, you don't need to separately launch from here.

Create the guides you want to link. For example, an onboarding checklist guide and a tool tip that highlights a certain element
For the first guide in the sequence (likely the onboarding checklist) customize your CTA to be "Launch a guide" and change the text of the CTA
From the menu modal choose your newly created tooltip as the "Destination guide"
When ready, launch the first guide in the sequence (the onboarding checklist) and when your users click the CTA it will automatically launch the new tooltip

How to open a contextual guide from a tool tip

Create the guides you want to link. For example, a tooltip behind a visual tag and a sidebar contextual guide
For the first guide in the sequence (likely the tooltip) customize your step call to action (CTA) to be "Launch a guide" and change the text of the CTA
From the menu modal choose your newly created sidebar guide as the "Destination guide"
When ready, launch the first guide in the sequence (the tooltip) and when your users click the CTA it will automatically launch the new sidebar guide

Note: You cannot use this button to launch a guide if that guide is already set to auto-launch.
