The short answer:
In the Bento sidebar, and
In any single location in your app, where you'd like to embed the checklist. Standalone pages and the "dashboard" of your app are the two most popular locations.
We see a 4x increase in engagement when checklists are presented inline compared to just in the sidebar.

Prerequisites
Before you can launch to customers, an engineer on your team needs to install the Bento snippet
You can choose the location of your guide without engineering involvement. All you need is to use the Chrome extension
Embed your inline guide
Create the onboarding guide that you want to embed inline in your app
Navigate to the Location & style tab of that guide and set the location The guide can appear just in the sidebar or both in the sidebar and inline.
When you set the location don't forget to save!
The location for all your onboarding checklists will be the same. For onboarding checklists we follow the principle of progressive disclosure. Your users will get one onboarding guide at a time. The subsequent guides will be 'unlocked' by the completion of the previous.
If you want your guide only in the inline and not in the sidebar, you can adjust your toggle visibility in Settings.
Watch-outs
You cannot embed a Bento guide in an iframe on your page.
Bento's components are designed to be responsive for web. By default, they're hidden in viewports < 600px in width and height, but you can override that in Settings.
