With Bento, you can embed the onboarding checklist anywhere in your product. Often customers put it on an existing dashboard page (above empty boxes) or on a separate page completely.

Option 1: Place the onboarding checklist on a new page

Create a new page in app

First, create a new page in your application for Bento to live <-- engineering required

Here is an example of Correlated's onboarding guide created by Bento on a separate page in their app with a sidebar navigation element.

Control in-app pages / elements

Since we never want your users to see an empty page, listen to Bento events to appropriately handle the various elements. <-- engineering required

We want to conditionally show the onboarding page and navigation element onGuideLoad.

See more information on Bento events and code samples here

See below how to embed the onboarding checklist and what the completed behaviour looks like...

Option 2: Place the onboarding checklist anywhere in your app

In this case, you don't need to create a new page you can just choose where in your app you want to place Bento.

Embed onboarding checklist

Using our no-code editor you can place the onboarding checklist on your newly created page.

Completed checklist behaviour

When the checklist is active they will see the onboarding checklist. You can control what will see when the checklist is completed via Bento customization <-- no engineering required

Head to Bento styles --> All guides page and decide what you want to see when there are no more active guides.
