One of the powerful things you can do with Bento is what happens after a user has completed their onboarding guide. Sure, the onboarding guide can disappear, but you can also continue to use the embed to build a journey for everboarding.

This is an example of a customized "Everboarding home" when embedded inline๐Ÿ‘‡

In the sidebar it looks like this ๐Ÿ‘‡

The page has 3 sections, each of which you can name:

  1. Active guides

  2. Previous guides

  3. Previous announcements

To customize the titles and even use dynamic attributes to create the ๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome back, Emily title, head to Styles. Within the Bento admin UI, this is referred to as "All Guides".

What kinds of guides appear in each section?

Active guides

  • Onboarding guides that are currently in progress

  • Any feature announcements that were "saved for later"

  • If a user only has a single onboarding guide, then they won't see this "Everboarding home" because there's nothing else to access!

Previous guides

  • Onboarding guides that are completed

Previous announcements

  • Announcement modals which were dismissed or completed

What if I don't want this view?

Inline embed

  • You can choose to hide this view if the user has no active guides.

Sidebar

  • You can choose to hide the sidebar based on a granular set of controls

  • Whenever the sidebar is available, and the user has at least 1 previous guide or announcement, they'll be able to access this view by clicking the back arrow
