If you auto-launched a guide and you don't want any new users or accounts to get the guide you can stop the guide. This is particularly helpful when:

  • You don't want a feature announcement modal to keep showing for new users

  • When you have a new version of an onboarding guide but want old users to still retain their original version.

If you want to remove the guide from all users, you can archive the guide. This also means that any users in the middle of a guide will have it removed.

Archiving a guide

To archive a guide you can click into the template and from the 3-dot menu in the top right choose the option "Remove from all users".

You can also select multiple guides from the guide library and select "Remove from all users" from the actions menu in the top right.

Who can still see a "Stopped" guide?

  • Users who have already seen the guide (logged in and viewed the guide) will continue to have the guide. It will be accessible from their Resource center.

  • Any user who hasn't logged in since the guide was launched will not get the guide

When you stop launching, you will be asked if you want to remove from existing users. This functions the same as archiving the guide.
