At this point you know about auto launching and manually launching.
We now offer a variation on auto launching that allows you to schedule when you want to launch and pause your guide. You can choose any date in the future to schedule your guide to launch and then similarly schedule a pause in the future.
But don't worry you can still immediately launch and pause should you want to!
So how does this work?
When creating a guide (checklist or announcement) you can control the guide duration under the targeting tab.
In the "Duration" section, you can then choose one of the following for guide launch:
Immediately
On a specific date
For pausing your guide, you have the following options:
When I pause this guide
On a specific date
Press Schedule Launch to schedule the guides to launch as specified. Pressing Launch will override your duration rules.
Keep in mind...
Scheduled launch's will trigger at midnight on the selected day and Scheduled pause's will trigger at 11:59pm on the selected day.
Scheduling a launch / pause will also save all changes you made to the guide.
Any subsequent changes to the guide copy, targeting, and other settings can be saved and will be captured for the scheduled launch, even if you change the scheduled launch date.
Note: This will not delete the guide from users after the set date it will only stop launching to new users
