Bento provides data about the performance of your guides at different levels of fidelity, from an overall perspective, to a specific guide and customer.

Note: All data is populated in Bento on the hour. You may notice a lag and this is the reason.

Overall

In the top level Analytics page you can see a summary of guides launched over the past 30 days.

To drill in, you'll see summary tables grouped by guide type. This data is for the lifetime of the guide. You'll also see the ability to export this data by CSV, or click into any guide's name to see detailed Guide Analytics.

Multistep checklist guides show:

  • User viewed: Number of users who have seen the guide

  • Number engaged: Number of users who have completed at least 1 step in the guide

  • Avg steps completed: Of users who engaged, on how many steps did they complete

Single step guides (Announcements, tooltips, and embedded components) show:

  • Users viewed

  • Number engaged

  • % dismissed: Number of users who dismissed / number of users viewed

Guide Analytics

Guide analytics show you specific data about a guide. For example, the number of accounts or users who have viewed and the number who have engaged.

Overview stats

The specific cards shown vary, based on your guide type.

Multistep guides

  • For example, if you have step(s) with input fields, we'll show a card of the number of respondents (along with a link to download responses)

  • User-guides will show Users viewed and Users engaged (users who have completed 1+ steps)

  • Account-guides will show Accounts viewed and Accounts engaged

  • Multistep guides will also show the Avg core steps completed. This excludes branching steps and any customized guides, since the total number of steps will vary

Announcements, tooltips, and embeds

If announcement, tooltip or embedded card, we'll show you stats that are related to users' engagement with your calls to action.

Detailed step performance

Next, we'll show you detailed performance on each step. For steps that track actual completion, we'll show you % completed (compared to users or accounts viewed).

  • This doesn't include any steps that get added to the guide via branching

  • You can also download a CSV of per user level data for further analysis

Account performance

  • See core steps completed by each account who's active in the guide

  • Last guide activity refers to the last time a user in that account interacted with the guide

Branching selections

For guides with branching questions, see how many accounts or users picked each path.

  • Count of users / accounts selected is grouped by the step group that is added

  • Step groups that were once in the guide, but now removed, are shown at the bottom in their own section

  • Completion rate refers to overall completion rate of that step in all guides where it is used. One of the benefits of Bento is the ability to re-use step groups across guides, and see its overall effectiveness.

Customer Analytics

Finally, for each customer, you can see detailed stats that help you understand the guides they've gotten, and their overall engagement. Check out th
